Context:

Developed during the Global Game Jam 2025, That 1% embraces the theme “Bubble” in a bizarre and biological way. Step into the microscopic world of a lone bacterium trapped inside a filthy bathroom, where survival depends on consuming whatever microbial leftovers you can find to grow stronger… and grosser.

You navigate this grimy environment collecting a variety of organic debris, dead bacteria, bodily residues, and other questionable matter to stay alive and evolve. But beware: the bathroom isn’t just dirty, it’s dangerous.

Two types of bubbles float through the air, each bringing a different kind of doom:

• Bleach Bubbles — If one touches you, you're done. Their chemical burn wipes you out instantly.
• Soap Bubbles — Safer, but not harmless. They won’t kill you, but they’ll slow you down, making survival harder as threats close in.

With every second, the hazards increase.
